At the end of a very busy term, I was lucky enough to take a few days away and go to New York! This meant I could cross something off my bucket list and visit the famous Carnegie Hall.
I didn’t get to watch a concert but did take one of their tours learning all about the founders and the building itself. It was very strange for me as a London based musician because from the outside, the building doesn’t look particularly special (in comparison to say the Royal Albert Hall) but inside was this incredibly beautiful concert hall where musicians from all over the world want to perform – they even provide free cough sweets for the audience!
I am very happy that I got to visit it and hope that one day I might go back and see a concert there or maybe even perform there myself in the future!
